Tomorrow’s leaders must think independently, solve problems no one has solved before, and act with care for people and planet. The Children’s Garden is built for exactly that. Founded in Nagpur as a kindergarten and growing with its children, we are a school where children and facilitators alike have a high innovation quotient: everyone questions, creates, learns and grows.
Our model pairs rigour with agency. Facilitators observe each child closely and design learning around their real questions. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, every subject is benchmarked against the Cambridge pathway, so children build towards internationally recognised qualifications. Learning happens in ateliers, studios and maker spaces, not classrooms! Our Centres of Excellence in literacy, numeracy, science, global studies and the arts let every child go as deep as their curiosity takes them.
Our school farm and the protected forests around Nagpur are becoming a living classroom, where children learn to care for the earth and leave it more alive than they found it. Our educators are here by conviction, not contract, driven by care and committed to making a difference. The result is a culture of trust, not pressure, where every child is known, heard and takes ownership of their learning. We see The Children’s Garden as more than a school: a working model for what education in India can become.
